The purpose of the conference is to gather scientists from different fields (statistics, time series, neurosciences, linguistics, medicine, biology) working on EEG (Electro-Encephalogram) with a strong emphasis on non-stationarity. The conference is free of charge but registration is mandatory. Please contact emmanuelle.gautherat@univ-reims.fr or patrice.bertail@parisnanterre.fr if you need some help or informations.
What is EEG?
EEG measures electrical activity in the brain using electrodes placed on the scalp. It is widely used in neuroscience, clinical diagnosis (e.g., epilepsy, sleep disorders), and brain-computer interfaces (BCIs).
Why Statistics for EEG?
EEG signals are noisy, high-dimensional, and non-stationary. Statistical methods help:
Remove noise (artifacts from eye movements, muscle activity).
